Ski Season 2005/06
Fall of 2001: Mazatlan, Mexico with 12+ friends, near death paragliding experience. New York City, respects to the WTC victims, Broadway, and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Winter 2001/2002 Argentina, the Moreno Glacier, Fitz Roy, Ushuaia. Antarctica. Climbing, iceburg cruising, animal spying,and SKIING. Many new friends. February, broke. Camper as my home, a good friend willing to let me park in his driveway, I took a job teaching HS Math. I learned a lot! also ski Instructor, Crystal Mountain, fabulous class!!!
Spring 2002: Earn those turns, hiking and skiing.
Summer 2002: House sitting on Bainbridge Island, lots of biking
2002/2003: September:Nepal, November:Thailand, December:Tanzania, South Africa, Zanzibar, January: Switzerland, Slovenia, France. February: Washington State, USA and British Columbia, Canada. May & June: substitute teaching in Issaquah School District, Washington State and spending way too much time trying to build a web site.
Summer 2003 bicycling from Delano,MN to Glenwood, IA (420miles) solo. RAGBRAI XXXi, job hunting. I do have to support myself, realilty hits.
2003/2004: Fall, started a new job teaching High School Special Ed. Math. Completing the Outdoor Emergency Care course needed for ski patrol. Winter: ski, patol, teaching in Sumner, ski, living in B lot during holidays, oh ya and I skiied. Spring: will find me skiing, looking for a new teaching job, buying a new home (van instead of the camper), and planning my summer.
Summer 2004: Bike riding - catch the journals above, Atlanta, Georgia (kind of) to Clinton, Iowa ... Pittsburg to Philadelphia...SanFransisco to Eureka, CA
Winter 2004/2005: Hunting for snow.
Summer 2005: Bicycle riding cross, well 1/2 way across the country. Buckley, Washington to Guttenburg, Iowa
Winter 2005/2006: Found snow : - )
